Just an update

We are off to Utah to visit CArsen for a few days! Yay! I miss that boy. He is such a cute, big brother to Bentlee and I hope that they can be as close as possible. Carsen is such a joy to have in our lives. Although we do not see him as much as we would like, he is in our thoughts and prayers always. He is 6 yrs old going on 30....or so it feels. He is one smart kid that excels in sports (particularly baseball), and he excels in school. There will be pictures and more to add soon to the blog!!!

So Bentlee is definetly a driving force in this family! He loves the steering wheel of the car so much. If I need a break, I take him to the car and let him think he is driving. Man, he could play for hours with it! Bentlee turned 9 months as of July 8, 2010. The time has gone by so fast. My little little boy is getting so independent and big. Some milestones of or child:
-He has 8 teeth and more on the way!!!
-He can pull himself up and stand all by himself. He is a little nervous to walk alone but will walk holding onto anything.
-He says,"Da Da, choi, sure, huh?, yah....," and many other jibberish sounds.
-Loves eating baby food and freaks out at the taste of chicken

So our Mr. Bentlee makes us laugh everyday and he truly completes our little family. We are pretty sure we are having a boy, so B-man can have someone to wrestle with :)

Bentlee will not look at the camera when other kids are around! HA! He is such a daddy's boy...still thinks he looks more like Lee than he does me

Bentlee loves to Swim

I know that I have posted this so many times...but Bentlee is truly a fish in the water! He kicks his feet and swims with his hands, all while I just laugh at him. He loves everything about being outside and in the pool. Since it is ridiculously hot in Louisiana, we have no problem going daily to the pool. Bentlee especially enjoys swimming with his dad because Lee plays all kinds of games with him.
Bentlee has been sleeping better at night....but he has an off night every now and then. It is usually when he wants to wake up and play. I always know when he is like this cause he looks at me and says,"Da." I am guessing "Da" means more than dad, and it means he wants to play. I just have to laugh at him even though I am exhausted beyond measure. Bentlee cannot sleep with us ever in our bed because his dad=playtime....Gosh I love my boys!

Rainy days and mondays always get me down....

Well, its been a rainy week here in New Orleans and We have been stuck inside all day! Except for my fabulous hard working hubby who has been knocking doors:) Bentlee has made a new friend named Gracee! She is 2 yrs old and he is fascinated with her. He is really cute to watch when he is around her. Already he is chasing girls!
I am 14 weeks pregnant and so happy to be getting this pregnancy over with! Anyone who knows me know that it's so hard for me to be prego, and with a 9 month old crazy little boy, I stay exhausted all day long!!! I have been trying to come up with a craft or a hobby that I can take advantage of, however, I am only blogging to take up some time. Our little family is still on the move and loving life every second! My little fish Bentlee is ready to swim on his own (if only he had longer arms and legs) Its so exciting to see his face light up with excitement and my heart is instantly full of Joy! The good times certainly make you forget any hard times that we may be experiencing in our lives!

I am the newest member of the blogging community and have no idea how to create a blog of our very fast paced life! I often wonder if it will slow down and have finally accepted that my life will be anything but simple! With Lee as my hard working, loving, and dedicated husband and father, he is my anchor that keeps me from losing my mind. He simplifies my life and reminds me of what matters most and I thank you Lee for loving me the way you do!
Bentlee is currently 8 1/2 months old now and is on the move! He cannot stop and "smell the roses!" Probably cause hes so busy trying to figure out his new world around him! We are living in New Orleans and really starting to enjoy life out here. Its been quite a challenge to not have our close friends and family surrounding us, however Lee is having a very successful summer working for a new security company, which is Pinnacle. Lee works in extremely hot and humid weather and I never hear him complain! He is my hero!

Life since Bentlee Michael Woods joined us...

Here is Bentlee at 2 months old when we decided to shave his head! Love this kid! He just stared at his DAD the whole time and was very curious about the sound of the clippers! Bentlee has been an added joy we had no idea we were missing in our lives! We laugh at him everyday as he keeps us on our toes with all of his curiosities about his world around him.
